Web hosting used to be expensive but with the advancement of internet and computer technology, web hosting service providers now offer cheaper hosting services. Depending on your hosting needs, a lot of web hosting companies now offer a wide range of web hosting services that suits your budget.

Hosting for your Personal Homepage/Small Business Website

Individuals who need hosting services for their personal websites, blogs, family pages or small business websites and those who do not require dedicated servers can opt for more economical options such as shared hosting services. Shared hosting is one type of web hosting service wherein a number of people share the overall cost of maintaining the server through a reseller thus bringing down the individual cost. There are many web hosting resellers you can find on the internet that offers this kind of hosting at a very low price.

Hosting for Wide Connectivity and Heavy Data Storage

If you do not wish to share your server, dedicated hosting is the kind of web hosting for you. The advantage of using this type of hosting is that you gain full control of the server including the operating system and/or the hardware. On the other hand, for large companies with multiple offices maintaining data centers in different cities and/or countries and requires wide internet connectivity, co-location hosting and managed hosting is still a highly valued service. These types of web hosting services are generally more expensive but they provide more powerful facilities and infrastructure to meet the huge connectivity demands of corporate entities. These type of hosting services are also more commonly used in Business Process Outsourcing industry such as call centers for technical support and customer services wherein companies require a 24/7 server uptime to cater to their client needs all over the world and provide technical support to their staff offshore.

Whatever your hosting needs are, from simple shared hosting to dedicated hosting or windows hosting for sophisticated applications you can always find web hosting service providers in the internet. Prices vary between type of hosting service package and from one web hosting company to the other but there are a lot of options you can explore. Some web hosting companies even offer free web hosting services in exchange for ads placed in your website or a purchase of complementary products or services such as domain name registration and/or signing up for affiliate or reseller hosting programs. Othera offer free trials with option to cancel if you’re not satisfied with the service and technical support. But before you go looking for a web hosting service package, please answer the following questions to guide you in choosing the web host package that is best for you;

  • What type of hosting service do you need?

PayPal Account Activated

Finally, after long hours of waiting I already have my PayPal Account verified. I still haven't recieved a notification from my bank that my Visa Electron is already active and ready to use for international purchase transactions until now. But anyway, I still tried and logged in to my PayPal Account hoping that I will get lucky and my debit card will no longer be rejected by PayPal. I did get lucky! My debit card was accepted and I was able to link it with my PayPal Account - that was really easy.

I was really excited! Now, I can do what I have been longing to do for the past few days - get my PayPal Account verified. But the last step before I can get my PayPal verified is to confirm my debit card. My excitement started to decline because I thought it would take me another 48 hours of waiting to complete the process. PayPal requires the 4-digit Expanded Use No. (EXPUSE) in order to confirm any credit/debit card linked to a PayPal Account. If you have successfully linked your credit/debit card to your PayPal Account, you will be charged a small amount of $1.95. This will be reflected in your bank statement. However, this amount will be refunded to your PayPal Account after you successfully confirm your credit/debit card and verify your PayPal Account.

The EXPUSE No. is a four-digit code found on your bank statement or Account History - if you're using internet banking facility, after you have linked your credit/debit card to your PayPal Account. And since I haven't recieved a confirmation from my bank yet that my CyberAccount is already active, could not log into my EON CyberAccount. So, I couldn't access my Account History and view my EXPUSE No. I decided to log out from my PayPal Account and hope that I will get my EXPUSE No. soon.

But then I realized that if my debit card was already accepted on PayPal, it means that it is already active and ready to use for online transactions. I immediately went to my bank's website, I tried to log into the internet banking facility using the username I nominated and entered my password. Just trying my luck and hoping to be able to access my account online - and I did get lucky! I was able to enter and check my balance through the internet which means that I can view my transaction history and get my EXPUSE No.! And there it was! I immediately copied and pasted it to my PayPal Account after I logged on and my PayPal Account was finally verified! Wew! That was quick!

Now, I can use my PayPal Account for recieving money and payments from my Data Entry and Home Typing jobs. www.tips-fb.com

EON Card Activated

My EON card has just been activated. Unfortunately I'm still unable to use it to verify my PayPal Account because I have to wait for another 48 hours to get my EON account enrolled in the EON CyberAccount - the EON Internet Banking Facility. And the waiting does not stop there because after my EON account gets enrolled in CyberAccount, I still need to request for Expanded Use Number (EXPUSE) which will take another 48 hours, if I get lucky. That's the only time I can get my PayPal Account verified. The waiting is really killing me...): www.tips-fb.com

Word Counter - Tool for Writers

I've found this word count tool and it's interesting. I find it very useful especially when writing for articles to be submitted to a number of Paid-to-Write programs I signed up for. It helps me track if I have already reached the minimum number of words required for my article to qualify and get credited. Best of all it's free! I have added this application to my blog. Just copy and paste your essay/articles on the text area found at the left side of this page and click the Calculate Words button.

You may also install this application on your own website or blog, just copy the java script and paste where you wish the script to appear. Click here for more free JavaScript applications. www.tips-fb.com

Just got my debit card...

I just got my eon debit card/visa electron from unionbank today and I'm excited to use it although it's not activated yet. Unionbank's online application really does work. I applied online and got an e-mail response telling me that my card will be available after 3 days at the Unionbank branch I specified. I went there after 4 working days and when I got there my card was waiting for me. I paid the 350 peso annual fee and that’s it! Now I’m one more step closer to having my Paypal account activated! Will try this over the next few days.

A debit card is a plastic card which provides an alternative payment method to cash when making purchases. In most cases: Physically the card is an ISO 7810 card like a credit card; however, its functionality is more similar to writing a cheque as the funds are withdrawn directly from either the cardholder's bank account (often referred to as a cheque card), or from the remaining balance on the card. Get Paid to View Ads..

Get Paid To View Ads

I went looking for a part-time job to earn some cash so I can buy a new laptop. I searched online for part-time jobs available and ended up with hefty ads on how to make money online through Paid-To-Click (PTC) and Pay-Per-Click(PPC) programs. At first I ignored these ads thinking that all of it are just scam - well most of them are. Desperate to have an extra income, I thought why don't I give it a try? But before I start signing up to any program, I made several researches on PTCs and PPCs. Is it legitimate? Does it really pay? Which programs and companies really pay and which are scam? Then, I signed up for a free Paypal Account and PayAlert Account - online payment system necessary to get my payments - if I ever get paid.

Below is a list of PTCs and PCCs from which I signed up and which have good reviews:

Clixsense
DonkeyMail
Bux.to
Linkgrand
MasterBux
Bux3
Adbux
GatorBux
A.W. Surveys
BeeGold

After signing up, I earned a total of $30 combined from this programs. Although I still can't cash it out because there is a minimum payout for each program. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that this really works. But if it doesn't, I'll live with nothing to lose just a new learning experience. You may want to try it too - there's no harm in trying. Just click any one from the list above to view the website and sign up.(:
